Code of Ethics Training for Medical Interpreters will consist of:

  • Codes of Ethics for Medical Interpreters: ATA, IMIA, CHIA, NCIHC.

  • Identify the seven common values among CHIA, NCIHC; IMIA.

  • Review the use of the Code of Ethics in difficult and complicated real‐life
    situations.

  • Study of the Medical Standards of Practice for Healthcare Interpreters: Ethical Principles, Protocol, Guidance on Roles & Intervention.
